KUWAIT: Deputy Chairman of the Board of Kuwait Olympic Committee Sheikh Mubarak Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said he is keen on supporting all athletes in all sports and remove obstacles facing them in order to reach the best levels.

Sheikh Faisal spoke during his reception of martial arts player Hamza Behbehani who is preparing for competing for the WBC heavy weight championship in June in Bangkok, Thailand.

Sheikh Mubarak lauded the outstanding achievements Kuwait players are making in various sports as individual or teams adding “we are proud with what Kuwait athletes are achieving at the Gulf, Arab and international levels and we will always be with them and Behbehani is one of the distinguished martial arts players and wish him all success”.

Behbehani said he was happy with the support he is receiving from Kuwait Olympic Committee adding that “I started preparations early with hopes of winning the Asian Championship that is presented by the WBC, and will continue training to be at the best level of readiness”.
