ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The New Brunswick government has inked an educational collaboration deal with Morocco.

The memorandum of understanding will allow professionals from both education systems to partner on various projects. These include promoting preschool education, inclusive education, school activities, sports, arts, cultural education and sustainable development.

It also involves combining new information and communications technology, as well as sharing expertise on student learning review and monitoring techniques.

“The signing of this agreement will foster cooperation in various educational sectors, encourage pairings between classes and schools, promote the sharing of the latest teaching practices and help implement innovative projects that reflect the shared priorities of both jurisdictions,” said Education Minister Bill Hogan.

This agreement follows the province's recent agreements with Ivory Coast focusing on education, training, labour force mobility, economy and culture.
